Full Speed Ahead
We invest heavily in the efficiency of our operation to grow our operating margins, and grow the highest quality food for our buyers and the world, all while minimizing the impact on our environment. Here are some of the latest technologies applied in our operations.
-
GPS mapping soil testing allows us to create precision maps to know exactly where to place our nutrients for optimal plant uptake, maximizing yield and lowering over application.
-
Our planting and harvesting equipment is ordered with the sub-inch GPS accuracy to help minimize overlap, reduce operator fatigue, and utilize equipment working widths.
-
Along with precision soil mapping, tissue sampling is a practice we’ve recently acquired to make sure that our crops are being fed with the nutrients they need to help reach their full potential.
-
Sectional control is used in planting equipment to shut off sections of our drill planters to minimize double planting and fertilizer application. On our spraying equipment, sectional control is used to shut individual nozzles off so there is zero overlap and no over application of chemicals.
Continued investment into quality and growth
While the 2025 harvest was plentiful, it brought a unique set of challenges. We viewed these as an opportunity to further add value to our crops and enhance quality for our partners. With the recent addition of a state-of-the-art grain cleaner and optical color sorter, we can now process our durum wheat—and provide services for others in the region—to ensure all grain meets the highest standards for milling.
